Chin Enhancements
Traditional
chin augmentation involves the
surgical implantation of a
shaped silicone, solid chin
implant under general
anesthesia. The surgery involves
up to two weeks of swelling and
pain. The results can be good,
but can also be limited by the
shape of the prefabricated
implant.
Both
Radiesse and Restylane are
great options for augmenting
the chin temporarily. Many
patients have been extremely
pleased with the result.
Smoothing
out folds and wrinkles by
adding volume can make an
enormous difference to your
appearance. With dermal
fillers, facial rejuvenation
can be carried out without the
use of foreign elements. When
treating wrinkles or folds, a
dermal filler is injected into
the skin in tiny amounts with a
very fine needle. The injected
gel produces natural volume
under the wrinkle, which is
lifted up and smoothed out. The
results can be seen
immediately. Treating wrinkles
with a dermal filler is fast
and safe and leaves no scars or
other traces on the face.
Fillers can
be used to augment the chin
area as an alternative to a
chin implant. The choice of
filler depends on the
objectives of the treatment.
Generally, radiesse will
provide a longer result and
more firm.
Radiesse is an excellent filler for Chin Augmentation. The injection can be done in 15 to 20 minutes in the office with very precise results that can last a year or more. The benefits include- no operative downtime, precise contouring- the posterior jaw line can be shaped as well, a chance to see what a permanent implant can look like, very little risk of complications.
You can have bruising- this can last up to 10 days. Radiesse has very few complications when used correctly.
